My name is Kalyn and I am the steward of the Woodside Hill Library. It is an officially chartered Little Free Library located in a suburb of Greenville, South Carolina. I do my best to include a wide selection of genres, including small children's board books, youth chapter books, adult fiction and nonfiction, cookbooks, and lifestyle and gardening books. I keep the library organized often and every couple of weeks I rotate books that have been in the box for a while and redistribute them to other LFLs in the area. I also have a selection of fun stickers, bookmarks, and treats for everyone!
A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. They function on the honor system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. If you take a book or two from a little library, try to bring some to share to that same library, or another in your area, when you can. To find more LFLs, go to the map on www.littlefreelibrary.org or download the app.
Our little free library depends on book donations, but sometimes I spend a little bit of money on secondhand books to vary our selection. I also enjoy adding free little treats like stickers, coloring pages, and bookmarks! If you ever want to pitch in, you can send money to me on Venmo and label it for the LFL. It will also go toward stamp and supply costs when it's time for Santa Letters each holiday season.
We would love for you to follow us on Instagram @woodsidehilllibrary. There you will find regular updates, "shelfies," and announcements of activities and events. You can also reach out to me directly if you have any requests...I'll do my best to find the genre or author you'd like to see in our library! And if you're another LFL steward in the Upstate, SC area, I'd love to meet you for coffee sometime!

I'd love to hear from you! If you have a larger donation of books you'd like to give, I can coordinate a drop off or pickup time and location with you. I'm also more than happy to talk about stewarding a Little Free Library if you have your own or want to build one!
